re/volve

Re/volve is a concept I created for my senior thesis project in my final year at Ohio State. The objective was to design a system that connects producers of waste (people and businesses) with artists and designers that can create something new from it. From there came the opportunity to sell the products in an online platform. It was very important that I created an awareness of the power of upcycling and make it seem like something that everyone can contribute to. 

At the end of the semester, every student's final project was on display for 2 weeks at the OSU Urban Arts Space in downtown Columbus. For my final deliverables, I created an animated video that explains the idea, and a website concept shown through a video walk-through. I also designed a 42x27" poster to be on display for the duration of the exhibition and a documentation book that further explains the research side of the project.

The project was recognized as best in show for Visual Communication Design.
